IDENTITY
Waza n Table was founded in the spring of 2018. Its original intention was to imagine a group of craftsmen sitting around a dining table to design and make suitable home appliances for an ideal space. Through exquisite craftsmanship and unique vision in wood selection, we create unique dining tables and furniture for general consumers and restaurants. Even though it is located in a small alley in Tainan, it still shines with a gentle yet dazzling light.
Inner Light is a small studio located in the industrial area of New Taipei City. The young team makes custom knives made of carefully selected materials, exquisite craftsmanship, and traditional skills, combined with detailed discussions with customers. Exquisite design makes each knife unique. Combining forging, woodworking and lacquerware techniques, and through years of accumulated forging skills, we have created a wonderful and practical work - Wine and Meat Friends.
In the 1960s, Taiwan was once the world's rattan industry center, and every household had rattan furniture. Today, Taiwan's rattan industry has declined, and rattan furniture has gradually disappeared from people's lives. Traditional culture and traditional skills should not disappear like this, so Mattan was born. Mattan hopes to use design techniques, original designs, and sustainable thinking to bring rattan furniture back to Taiwanese homes with a new look, allowing people to once again recognize the beauty of rattan furniture.
